It is possible to get to the island of Pag from many directions by road, because the island is connected to the mainland not only by ferries, but also by a bridge on its southeast side. If you are coming from the north of Croatia, the fastest way to reach Novalja is to take the ferry PRIZNA - ŽIGLJEN.

From Zagreb to the island of Pag you take highway A1 to the exit ŽUTA LOKVA and then in Senj you get on the main road and head south. Ferry port Prizna is at a distance of only 50km from Senj.

If you are coming from the direction of the city of Rijeka a state road leads to the ferry stop Prizna. In this case, it is a 110 kilometers long journey along the Kvarner coast.

From Prizna and to the island of Pag ferries sail in accordance to sailing schedule. During the season, that is almost every 30 minutes. From the port of Žigljen to the 10 kilometers distant camp of Straško you will be lead by traffic signalization.

At the very entrance to the town of Novalja is marked the turn for the camp Straško.

If you arriving to the island of Pag from the south, from the direction of Dalmatia on highway A1, there are signs that will direct you from the exit POSEDARJE to the island of Pag and the bridge that connects Pag to the. Follow the island road to the town of Pag (approximately 25 minutes) and at the town of Pag proceed on the main road towards Novalja, continue past the places Šimuni, Kolan, Gajac and the beach Zrće. Just before the center of Novalja signs will direct you to the camp Straško, or the hotel Loža.

By sea the island can be reached from several directions which greatly facilitates the fact the city of Zadar is so close to it, and Zadar has a ferry connection with the Italian coastal city of Ancona. The ferry on the route Prizna to Žigljen connects nearly every 30 min the island with the mainland, while a catamaran on a daily basis connects Novalja with the city of Rijeka.
